ULC has a long history of engagement in community outreach efforts. It has always been a core belief of our leadership that supporting your fellow human helps everyone in the community as a whole.
From our founder Fileno’s tireless contributions to numerous national, state and local organizations like the American Cancer Society, the Massachusetts department of Italian-American War Veterans and our local Harrington Memorial Hospital, to his son Al’s service in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII and high level continued support of Harrington Memorial Hospital as well as other local organizations such as Nichols College, Old Sturbridge Village, United Way of Southbridge and so many more.
Today, we continue to support both our local and professional communities in any way we can. More recent contributions include upgraded technology to one of our town schools and advanced cameras for the NICU at our town’s hospital, so parents can remain with their newborn babies even when they’re not physically able to be there.
“Giving is not just about making a donation. It is about making a difference.”
